Schoolory is built by VNIS Vietnam Company Limited, part of VNIS Group. This page is what we are, what we are not, and why the product is put together the way it is.
What it is
One system for the business of running a tutoring center or language school: admissions, courses and classes, timetables, attendance, tuition and invoicing, staff and payroll, and a parent app — across every campus you operate.
What it is not
Not a learning platform. It does not host courses, deliver lessons or grade quizzes, and it is not trying to replace what your teachers already use in the classroom. We also do not teach: we sell software to schools, we do not run one.
How it is built
The promises are architecture, not policy
Our customers hold data about children. A promise that depends on us remembering it is worth less than one the system cannot break.
One database per school
Your data is not rows in a shared table with a column naming your school. It is a separate database with separate credentials. Deleting your account drops a database rather than setting a flag.
No trackers where the children are
The parent app and the staff app carry no third-party analytics at all. On these public sales pages we use Google Analytics, and only if you accept the banner. A test in our codebase fails the build if anyone crosses that line.
Your data can stay in your region
Region is chosen when the workspace is created, so data residency is a setting rather than a support conversation. You can export everything, as CSV or JSON, at any time and without asking us.

The brand
A week on a timetable
The mark is a rounded square holding three bars of decreasing length. It is a week on a timetable — deliberately not a graduation cap, a book or a pencil. Those belong to courseware. This is operations software for the person who has to make the month work.
The name is the product, and it stays the product. What your families see on invoices and class reminders is your school's name and logo, not ours. Our brand belongs on the sign-in page and the subscription receipt, and nowhere else.
Who is behind it
The founder
Alex Nguyen
Founder & Chairman, VNIS Group
Runs the day-to-day of VNIS Group and its business units, with oversight of business development, finance, institutional partnerships and marketing. MBA from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii, and a bachelor's degree from the University of the West of England.
VNIS Group leadership
The group runs several businesses — education, investment, food, and a marketing agency. These are the people who lead them.
Thao Hoang
Deputy Director, VNIS Education & VNIS Investment
Oversees education services, immigration services, agent partnerships and recruitment. Over five years in international education and teaching. Graduate of Foreign Trade University, Hanoi.
Cindy Tran
CEO, Clever Academy
More than ten years as a law and immigration specialist across several countries, and Country Coordinator in Vietnam for Kansas State University in 2012. Graduate of Foreign Trade University.
Hoang Nguyen
Managing Director, VNIS Investment & VNIS Food
Works across investment, food and beverage, and public relations. University of Michigan graduate in marketing and international business management.
Phuong Vu
Managing Director, Root Marketing Agency
Leads Root Marketing Agency, the group's marketing practice, alongside Duong Nguyen.
