Messaging between schools and families, your own sending domain, and a referral programme.
New8
- Message families from inside Schoolory. Each student gets a thread with their family, each class gets one for announcements, and staff can message each other. Parents reply from the family portal — no app to install.
- Parents now sign in to the portal with a code sent to their email, so every message has a name against it. A forwarded link no longer lets someone else read a family's messages.
- Email alerts when a message arrives. A busy back-and-forth sends one email, not ten, and nothing is sent to someone who is already reading the thread.
- Class conversations follow the class list on their own. When a student leaves a class, their family stops seeing it — there is nothing for you to remember to switch off.
- Parent-to-parent groups, off unless you turn them on. When on, a parent can only start a group with families from a class they share — never the whole school.
- Refer another school and earn 20% of their first invoice, capped. You are credited when they actually pay, not when they start a trial. Your link is in Settings → Refer a school.
- Send email from your own domain. Add it in Settings → Email, publish the two DNS records we show you, and we verify them with our email provider before switching over. Until then mail goes out from us — either way, replies come back to your school's inbox.
- Confirm your email address when you sign up. Until you do, the workspace is read-only. It is the address we use for password resets, invoices and any warning before data is deleted, so a typo there is worth catching on day one.
